Fantastically plastic!

They're about two weeks left till the summer holidays and I don't know whether I can last until then, as school is really tiring me out now..... omg.
So I've been feeling rather 'pink' recently. Umm yeah that doesn't really make much sense but OH MY GOSH IT'S SUCH A PRETTY COLOUR!!
Also I was looking at old Barbie dolls and I thought it would be fun if I shared some Purdy ones I've found with you...

This is part of what I wore a couple of week ago. I made the Barbie necklace with bits and bobs I found in my room, and the pearly gold one is from Age UK which I bought the other week. It came with a matching bracelet and earrings and cost me a total of £1.99. My shirt is vintage and has the poofiest sleeves. EVER!! I bought it at a vintage jumble sale event in Manchester last month.

Found this on Google images.

OMG SUPER CHRISTMAS 90'S BARBIE!! This is like the coolest thing I've seen for a while!
I found this pic on Google images.

DIY Scrunchie Tutorial

Howdy all, Happy Christmas Eve! Today I'm sharing with you a quick tutorial I've made which shows you how to make your own Scrunchies, just like the one Heather Chandler wears in Heathers...

So, you'll need:   Scissors,  a nice piece of fabric (I used one about half the size of a portrait piece of A4 paper),   a piece of thin elastic string(about the length of a regular hair bobble),   and a needle and thread.

Start by folding your piece of fabric in half, but the wrong way so you can't see the pretty pattern on it.

Stitch it up baby, but DON'T sew it up at the ends.

Turn it out the right way.

Take you elastic string and find a way to feed it through the 'tube' or 'sock' (whatever you wanna call it!) that you have made....

Make sure you can tie the elasic in a knot once you have fed it through....

Now sew the ends of the fabric together.....

Et voila!! Your Scrunchie is now complete!! :D

Now you'll look super trendy!!

Film of the month: Untamed Heart

Have any of you guys ever seen 'Untamed Heart' with Christian Slater in it? Well if not, it's certainly worth watching (you can get the whole thing up on youtube somewhere)! It's like, the cheesiest 90s film ever, and the storyline is a bit well, cheesey to be honest. I mean, Christian Slater plays a guy who has a baboon's heart!!?? Anyways, it's a  really cute film and the outfits that they wear at the cafĂ© are totes adorable!
