Lavender girls

Last week myself and my family went on a holiday to Palma in Majorca. I was super hot and I drank a lot of water and ate a lot of ice cream. Anyways today I bought another real leather skirt in AgeUK for £1.49-  I now have two genuine leather skirts from that shop (but the other one was £2.99 and is two sizes too big)..... I think it's becoming a wee addiction. I LOOVE YOU AGEUK!!!!
Here is a little mixture of some photographs of our holiday took on my phone (I took more on a proper camera but I haven't put them on le computer yet because the camera ran out of batteries), and just some other pics....

This is what I wore today and the picture is all gross and blurry because my sister is not very good at taking pictures.

This is part of a collage I made for some summer school thing I went to at the start of the holidays. We had to make a mood board that described ourselves and do a 'minute-long speech' about what we were into but I just ended up waving it about for a minute mumbling a load of poop about cassette tapes and charrty shops.

I don't remember if I've put this picture in a previous post and I can't be bothered checking whether I have or not. The source of the image is unknown.

I got these mini rosary beads in a souvenir shop in Palma.

Cloudbusting

Woo hoo I'm lovin' the sun we've got here in Manchester right now!! I've been outside literally all day in the garden playing like a little kid, you know, like running round and playing on a 'groovy chick' scooter.

Well anyways I got you some pretty pictures....

I got the watch in New York earlier this year, and I found the My Little Pony on top of my wardrobe ages ago. This is actually a photo I took for my art coursework in school.

This is also for school.

I just found this picture and it made me feel all nostalgic. It is from when me and my family took a trip to London last summer and visited the 'Harry Potter Land' place.

More from HP land.

I also took this pic last summer in London but it is from a trip we took with school.

This was a cute strawberry I ate today.

Her is the wonderful Esther Williams who sadly passed away earlier this week at the age of 91. She was such an inspiration and a great role model!

I watched the film 'Dangerous when Wet' as a tribute.

blurr

Ok, I must apologise for my recent lack of blogging. I am also apologising for the blurry-ness of the photographs I'm sharing with you- I don't even know why they've gone like that! So anyways, at school we break up for half term for a week and I SHOULD PROBABLY USE THIS TIME TO CATCH UP WITH ART COURSEWORK AND REVISE FOR MY SCIENCE EXAM. Urgh so much work.

This is a picture I made earlier this week when I should have been doing art homework.

Umm, I went a bit overboard with Royal Wedding merch on Sunday at a charity shop. I was actually just going to buy a Charles and Diana mug but the guy at the till just kept showing me all these plates so I just bought them because they were only 49p each.

This is the graveyard in Haworth where I went last Saturday, there was this '1940s Weekend' going on- omg it was sooo cool!

This is in the Bronte Parsonage Museum and it's just the house where the Bronte sisters lived but it's been turned into a museum omg it was soo amazing I just really wanna go back.

New York City 2013

Oh my golly gosh- finally, I have managed to post pictures from my AMAZING trip to New York! In my last post I think I  mentioned that I couldn't figure out how to put the photos from the camera onto the computer. Well... I gave up after about 20 minutes so I asked my dad and it took him literally a minute (so if your reading this THANNK YOUU!!).
So then, let's begin!...

The trip was organised by my school and I think we had a group of 24 pupils from my year who went. We visited literally EVERYTHING!! As it was ran by the 'Art Department', we visited loads of art galleries and museums (OMG, museums are actually one of my favourite places to be!!) such as the Metropolitan Museum, and MOMA (which is the Museum of Modern Art)!!

One more week...EEK!!

Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh.... next week I'll be on a plane.. en route to New York City baby!! Oh my gosh, I'm sooo excited!
I think that I should probably start packing and getting everything ready this weekend, because, we still have school for a whole week until we go, but OMG, you don't understand how excited I am!!
I bought some travel sweets (to serve a purpose- not just because I liked the tin) from a cute little sweet shop near where I live for on the aeroplane...

Clothes Show Live 2012!!

Howdy all, yesterday, me and my BFF Madeleine (check out her blog here) took a trip to Clothes Show Live in Birmingham - Woop woop!! It was sooooo awesome! We went with school, so getting there was pretty easy, because we got a coach, but still, I had an early start (got up at about half 5 in the morning), but the 2 hour journey was totally worth it!

When we got there, we went to see an amazing fashion show at the Suzuki theatre,
and, OMG, Henry Holland (one of my FAVOURITE designers!) was presenting it, which was totally AWESOME! We had loads of fun, and I'll show you what I bought in another post quite soon.

It was a great experience. We saw so much, you know, like, they had the most beautiful vintage shops filled with gorgeous hats, bags, brooches, you name it, they had it!
Also, we went to literally, makeup city, it had, and I mean, it really had every makeup product under the sun! You could get goody bags for like £10, that were filled with makeup that was worth at least five times more than the goody bag itself. So, knowing me (I'm a gal who loves a great bargain, well, who doesn't?), well, I got some of those!

Here are some pretty pictures I took at the event.....

We both got a Company/Cosmopolitan goody bag, so we rested our legs for a few minutes at one point and took the liberty to read a bit of Company.

This was at the Suzuki fashion theatre, and here is (OMG breathe....) Henry Holland! He presented the show alongside Grace Woodward.

Shoes- my brogues & Madeleine's converse! I took this when were having lunch.

This was in one of the vintage stalls, I could have actually have bought ALL these brooches!!

Woop woop, we went in Candy Kittens, you know, that shop founded by Jamie Laing from Made in Chelsea!

Fun Coach Trip, lol! 2 hours with no ipods, magazines, portable radios, sweets....

This was a cute little stall that sold bath things....

The David and Goliath shop. There was a HUGE queue to get in, so we didn't bother going there.

I LOVE these sunnies!

Absolutely beautiful brooch!!

The fashion show

I really wish that I could have taken more photos of the fashion show, because we were relatively close to the catwalk, but with all the bright lights and all, my camera wouldn't focus and most of the pictures I took are all really blurry....
