Buys an instant cake and burns a frozen steak

Good evening my dear friends/readers, I am currently sat in my dark front room and blogging via my mobile phone. My dog is next to me playing with a tennis ball and being all gross and scratchy. Ew. 

Well it is now half term and should be off school next week.. However, I must go back on Wednesday to catch up with art because we are doing an exam and I have to FINISH A WHOLE SKETCHBOOK AND FINAL PIECE WITHIN FOUR WEEKS!!! I personally think it's highly unlikely that I will complete any of it so please wish me luck. Also, on Thursday I am not looking forward to school again at 9:30am till 2:30!?? It's to redo some science coursework that I totes failed last year (my whole class literally got A*-Bs and I think that I got an E??!)- yeah so really not looking forward to that.

Anyways me and my friend Madeleine went charity-shopping in Eccles yesterday..... Um that is a super weird place no offence. Well I often went there with my grandmother as a child and have sometimes gone there on my own but yesterday it was pretty creepy. I bought the cacti above in Wilkinsons though and they are super cute! The pots weren't included and the little one cost only £1.50 and the big one was £4.00 and I recommend that everyone buys one because they are awesome!! I think I spent all my money on them but it was so worth it! 

I spent Valentine's with my grandmother and little sister at our local pub where they serve chips in little silver buckets. I thought it would be cute to dress in 'love'- themed colours.

Sale-tastic!!

OMG guys, the winter sales are still on so I thought I'd check to see if there is anything nice and well, OMG there's loads!! I still think the Topshop one is best but I looked at the one in H&M a few weeks ago and that one was pretty good. So, dudes hurry up and get sale shopping!!
I also took the liberty to make a small selection of some items in various sales that I <3 <3 <3 !!

Most loved Topshop SALE items...

Urrggh I feel soo sick! I've taken the day off school and have been watching ITV all morning. They've all taken the whole Christmas decorations thing to the absolute extreme. I mean, why "This Morning", why have you put up AT LEAST 10 massive Christmas trees in your studio?!
I think I'll spend most of the day watching Jeremy Kyle and telling myself that I need to do some homework.
Well anyways, we've not seen a good old (I don't know what to call it), Board of nice clothes (I hope that sounds alright!) here on Apple Scruffs, so I thought it would be fun to make one about my favourite items in the current online sale at Topshop...

New dress!!

Woop woop, I'm all excited because I got a new dress! It's one that I got on Sunday at the clothes show, and was a very good price indeed (I'm talking £10 babyyy)!!
I had actually planned to post this yesterday, but something weird was going on with the mobile blogger app on my phone, so I kind of had to delete and re-add it. It was a bit of a bummer.

Clothes Show Live 2012!!

Howdy all, yesterday, me and my BFF Madeleine (check out her blog here) took a trip to Clothes Show Live in Birmingham - Woop woop!! It was sooooo awesome! We went with school, so getting there was pretty easy, because we got a coach, but still, I had an early start (got up at about half 5 in the morning), but the 2 hour journey was totally worth it!

When we got there, we went to see an amazing fashion show at the Suzuki theatre,
and, OMG, Henry Holland (one of my FAVOURITE designers!) was presenting it, which was totally AWESOME! We had loads of fun, and I'll show you what I bought in another post quite soon.

It was a great experience. We saw so much, you know, like, they had the most beautiful vintage shops filled with gorgeous hats, bags, brooches, you name it, they had it!
Also, we went to literally, makeup city, it had, and I mean, it really had every makeup product under the sun! You could get goody bags for like £10, that were filled with makeup that was worth at least five times more than the goody bag itself. So, knowing me (I'm a gal who loves a great bargain, well, who doesn't?), well, I got some of those!

We both got a Company/Cosmopolitan goody bag, so we rested our legs for a few minutes at one point and took the liberty to read a bit of Company.

 

 

This was at the Suzuki fashion theatre, and here is (OMG breathe....) Henry Holland! He presented the show alongside Grace Woodward.

This was in one of the vintage stalls, I could have actually have bought ALL these brooches!!

Woop woop, we went in Candy Kittens, you know, that shop founded by Jamie Laing from Made in Chelsea!

Fun Coach Trip, lol! 2 hours with no ipods, magazines, portable radios, sweets....

This was a cute little stall that sold bath things....

 

The David and Goliath shop. There was a HUGE queue to get in, so we didn't bother going there.

I really wish that I could have taken more photos of the fashion show, because we were relatively close to the catwalk, but with all the bright lights and all, my camera wouldn't focus and most of the pictures I took are all really blurry....

My favourite Cambridge Satchels...

I've seen satchels everywhere this year (never a bad thing), and one brand that really rocks is the 'Cambridge Satchel Company' (you can check out their website here). I have a kind of "fake" one that I take to school, and it's lasted me years. It's a pretty close replica, so I know that the real ones would be great quality, which is awesome, you know, because we like bags that last a long time, lol!

Sunday Surprise... fur+tartan

Oh dear, I've only just noticed that I've been spelling the word "surprise" wrong all this time (how embarrassing lol)!! It's been quite a laid-back weekend for me really, I mean, all I have done is shop, and watch the Mighty Boosh, literally! I also applied for my first job!
Now, I'm sat in my room writing this, and watching Grease, haha! -I'm upto the Summer Lovin' bit!

Bonjour, I'm sorry I've not blogged all week, and It's not like I've been extra busy or anything, but one has really kind of fallen out of the 'blogging zone' recently, if you know what I mean! I've not really got that much to talk about, other than I started my art studies in school the other day, so maybe I'll show you what I get up to with that sometimes.
Its getting colder everyday here in England, I keep forgetting my gloves for school, and I should probably buy some thicker tights now! So today I thought I'd make a 'Winter Essentials' list...

Sunday Suprise... Gothic

Oooh, Halloween is only a few days away! I've never actually been a great fan of this holiday, as dressing up all spooky is not really 'my thing', if you know what I mean. As Halloween is just around the corner, I thought that a 'Gothic' theme would be quite fun for this week's Sunday Suprise, and it's also a trend which is totally in right now!

I love cat eyes!

Yippee, friday again!(I really need to stop going on about the days of the week!)

Well, today I'm sharing with you some cute eyeglasses I found n Etsy! I don't actually wear glasses, but after watching all those spec savers adverts and stuff like that, it does leave me feeling quite jealous of those who wear glasses. I know that some  people wear those fake ones, but I don't quite fancy doing that, as I'd probably come across as a bit desperate - no offence to those who like wearing fake glasses!

Novelty Knits!

Oooh, its nearly that timeof year when we all start wearing those cosy jumpers and chuny knits!
This year I've had a bit of a craving for some 'novelty' jumpers, you know, like those rather ugly and crazy ones that people wore in the 80s! I don't know why but I actually think they are quite cool, so I decided to see if there were any kinds of 'funky' knits out there in shops at the moment!

Possibly the cutest make-up I have ever seen!!

If you've not yet discovered the amazing new make-up collection by Louise Gray at Topshop, you really must!! The entire collection looks absolutely beautiful, and it's one of those things that you just want one of everything!! I even let out a little squeal (which must have looked rather sad) when I first saw it all in the shop!! I've not actually tried any of the products but they do look good on the quality side, and they look so pretty, so I am definitely saving up for some!!!
